Shipside survey means assistance by our surveyors to the ship’s staff during loading, discharging and cleaning operations of all kinds of chemical, vegetable, edible and mineral liquid cargoes.
Our independent and experienced surveyors will be on board during the entire operation. They can deal with any problem rising during the procedure. Cargo tanks will be inspected by us, in the presence of the receiver or shipper.
Our surveyor will stay in close contact with the cargo representative to be informed about availability of barges and shore tanks to receive the cargo. Samples will be taken from the tanks to be retained in our laboratory.
A daily report, stating all facts, time sheets and inspection certificates, is issued soonest after completion of the vessel.
The intervention of Dr. A. Verwey Survey services means considerable improvement of a vessel’s turnaround time, arguments are solved by our reports, demurrages are easily settled, cargo claims and contamination prevented.
